Our business has been developed around the UK and Saudi Arabia, Middle East requirements in both urban and industrial environments.
The founder Andrew Williams has an extensive operational career in the UK fire service with his career starting in London Fire Brigade, UK. This career sees Andrew progress to a strategic leadership officer where he was responsible for a number of different departments within London Fire Brigade.
Andrew continued his career in Saudi Arabia working for Saudi Aramco fire department being responsible for a one of their most critical oil refineries and distribution terminals, this gave him an extensive understanding of a fire service in an industrial environment. Andrew was approached to join one of Saudi Arabia’s Giga projects to be responsible and drive the delivery of the fire department alongside overseeing construction phase fire assets. This role required the development of a fire service by overseeing and negotiating with developers the construction of four state of the art fire stations, developing a recruitment strategy for firefighters, reviewing existing site wide fire plans which required revising to better support the organisation, specifying and procuring vehicles and equipment, all the while having a full understanding of budget parameters, local legislation, organisational vision and compliance with statutory requirements.
Andrew has a wealth of experience in both urban and industrial firefighting that encompasses and acknowledges both European and NFPA standards. He can navigate this complexity to ensure that delivery of any project best fits the organisation and complies with local regulation.
